Bill Gates accuses Elon Musk of ‘killing’ children in brutal new interview

Uh oh, the billionaires are fighting again

Even though the richest men in the world might seem like they have pretty busy work schedules, that doesn’t seem to stop them from taking time out from their days to take swipes at each other.

We’ve seen Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos previously duke it out in a war of the words, while Musk is also known for beefing with OpenAI’s Sam Altman.

Now, Bill Gates is wading into things as he delivers his own brutal takedown of the world’s richest man.

Bill Gates served as the richest man in the world between 1995 to 2010, and then regained his crown from 2013 to 2017, as well as having the honor of being the world’s first-ever centibillionaire in 1999.

Although he’s since pledged to give away (almost) all his money to charitable causes as part of the Giving Pledge alongside the likes of Warren Buffett and ex-wife Melinda French Gates, the fact that Gates’ current net worth is $113 billion means he’s not short of a dollar or two.

Still, that pales in comparison to Elon Musk lording it over us with a jaw-dropping $388 billion.

Musk has tumbled some way from his December 2024 peak of $486.4 billion, with his ongoing role in the Department of Government Efficiency continuing to put a dent in his financials.

There’s been a vocal backlash to Musk slashing the federal spend and gutting whole departments, and alongside boycotts of his Tesla company, he’s faced massive losses of $29 billion in a single day.

Musk has vowed to continue his mission in trying to cut spending by $2 trillion, although Gates has warned that trimming the fat could be having a devastating effect on the youth of today.

Speaking to the Financial Times, Gates has decried Musk’s assault on USAID and accused the tech billionaire of ‘killing’ children due to the sudden cuts made to the organization.

Gates claims that Musk’s cuts led to life-saving food and medicines helping tackle the likes of measles, HIV, and polio have been left to expire in warehouses.

In Gates’ own words: “The picture of the world’s richest man killing the world’s poorest children is not a pretty one.”

Musk was vocally against USAID and said it was “time for it to die,” which led to protests outside government buildings.

BREAKING: Bill Gates just accused Elon Musk of ‘killing’ children with USAID cuts. Gates stated: “The picture of the world’s richest men killing the world’s poorest children is not a pretty one.” Thoughts?

Gates goes on to say that Musk was wrong to cancel grants to a hospital in Gaza Province, Mozambique, amid the whole condom chaos: “I’d love for him to go in and meet the children that have now been infected with HIV because he cut that money.”

Since taking power alongside the Trump administration, the DOGE has been dismantling USAID and terminated over 5,600 workers.

In another scathing interview with the New York Times, Gates maintained that Musk has put USAID “in the wood chipper, because he didn’t go to a party that weekend.”

The outlet reminded Gates that Musk is technically still part of The Giving Pledge, with the Windows founder concluding: “The Giving Pledge — an unusual aspect of it that you can wait until you die and still fulfill it. So who knows? He could go on to be a great philanthropist. In the meantime, the world’s richest man has been involved in the deaths of the world’s poorest children.”

Musk isn’t known for taking this kind of smack talk lying down, so we’ll wait and see what he says back to Gates. In the meantime, the latter seems quite content giving away his massive fortune to help those in need.

Mike Myers opens up about ‘SNL’ Canada protest after Elon Musk issued bizarre statement

His ‘Canada is not for sale’ message is clearer than ever

There’s an ongoing war of the words between Elon Musk and Mike Myers, with the world’s richest man and the Emmy Award-winning actor continuing to clash over Canada. Myers once again stands up to Musk and proudly declares, “Canada is not for sale.”

Back in March 2025, Myers delivered a ‘brutal’ take on Elon Musk, brandishing a chainsaw, mocking President Trump’s meeting with Vodomyr Zelensky, and ridiculing the many firings that the Department of Government Efficiency has been dishing out.

Musk made his feelings clear and branded the skit ‘unfunny’, but this was just the start of the saga. Myers has continued playing the tech mogul on SNL, even throwing in a bit of his iconic Dr. Evil character from Austin Powers.

It seems that Myers has taken particular issue with Musk and the current state of US politics, especially when it comes to Canada. The first time he played Musk on the series, the Shrek actor proudly wore a “Canada is not for sale” t-shirt. This was amid the tariff chaos, where many accused the POTUS of levying tariffs on Canada as an attempt to force it into becoming part of the USA.

Now, Myers has doubled down on his defiance in an interview with The New York Times, explaining why he’s ready to ‘defend’ the Great White North. Myers explained he wore the “Canada is not for sale” tee and mouthed ‘elbows up’ into the camera because, “I got angrier and angrier.”

It comes in response to Trump referring to Canada as the 51st State and a bizarre statement from Musk, where he claimed that Canada isn’t a real country. Myers was triggered by graffiti he apparently saw in Winnipeg, which read: “There’s no greater pain than being betrayed by a friend.”

Explaining why he felt the need to act, the star continued: “What happened came from my ankles and from my brain and from my heart, and it was not about me — it was about my country.

“I wanted to send a message home to say that I’m with you, you know.”

The expat admitted: “No one is more Canadian than a person who no longer lives in Canada.

“What’s happened has really hurt our feelings. We love America. We love you guys. We don’t understand what this madness is.”

He’s continued taking on the current administration, since starring in an ad for the Liberal Party where he wore a ‘Never 51’ jersey.

As for Musk, he sees his current entrenchment in American politics as a potential problem: “To the extent that Elon Musk is involved in our democratic government, it goes against how I feel as a Canadian. We don’t have a distrust of the government. We have a belief in good government.”

In terms of his impressions, Myers thinks comedy is the way forward: “Fascism doesn’t like to be ridiculed; it likes to be feared. Satire is an important tool in the toolbox to say that this is not normal — that the cuts he’s making are not normal.”

Musk appeared on SNL back in 2021 and delivered the opening monologue, although many can’t believe this is the same person. After he claimed that Canada is not a real country, 376,994 Canadians signed a petition asking to revoke his dual citizenship.

Tesla breaks silence on launching search for Elon Musk replacement as CEO

Is his 17-year reign coming to an end?

With the state of the world right now, it sometimes feels like we’re in some Shakespearean tragedy, with Elon Musk being a controversial Macbeth-like figure.

The world’s richest man has come a long way from his PayPal days, and with his business portfolio including SpaceX, X, and Tesla, he’s also made a move into politics by heading up the Department of Government Efficiency.

As Elon Musk continues his various ventures and sets his sights on Mars (could he be the first Martian president?), his involvement with Tesla proves to be a poisoned chalice for the electric vehicle giant.

Even though Musk wasn’t officially the founder of Tesla, his position as CEO since October 2008 has seen him become a figurehead of the company.

That’s come at quite the cost, and due to Musk’s involvement with the DOGE and slashing thousands of jobs while gutting funding to whole government departments, there have been vocal calls to boycott Tesla.

President Donald Trump is trying to counter this by turning the front of the White House into an EV showroom, and while Tesla apparently won’t be hit as hard with Trump’s tariffs as others, rumbles of unease among the public mean Tesla profits have plummeted.

There’s been a lot of noise about Tesla severing ties with Musk, as even one top investor suggested he be fired as CEO.

Musk is due to take a step back from politics, and with it, should be spending more time trying to get Tesla back on track.

This counters claims that the company is currently using headhunters to try and find someone to replace him as Tesla CEO.

The Wall Street Journal claimed that the Tesla board had been in touch with executive placement firms in March 2025, citing multiple unnamed sources and reports that it was scouting for someone to take over from the tech billionaire.

In a series of defiant statements, Musk’s side has debunked the claims that he’s moving on from his EV baby. Posting through the company’s X account, Tesla Chair Robyn Denholm reiterated: “Earlier today, there was a media report erroneously claiming that the Tesla Board had contacted recruitment firms to initiate a CEO search at the company.

It is an EXTREMELY BAD BREACH OF ETHICS that the @WSJ would publish a DELIBERATELY FALSE ARTICLE and fail to include an unequivocal denial beforehand by the Tesla board of directors!

“This is absolutely false (and this was communicated to the media before the report was published). The CEO of Tesla is Elon Musk and the Board is highly confident in his ability to continue executing on the exciting growth plan ahead.”

Musk delivered his own charged barb and slammed the WSJ as he wrote: “It is an EXTREMELY BAD BREACH OF ETHICS that the WSJ would publish a DELIBERATELY FALSE ARTICLE and fail to include an unequivocal denial beforehand by the Tesla board of directors.”

He then reposted a comment that referred to the outlet as ‘trash’.

In the recent earnings call where the board was forced to acknowledge the nosedive in Tesla profits, Musk promised: “I’ll be allocating far more of my time to Tesla.” Even as the Tesla troubles continue, it doesn’t sound like its controversial CEO is going anywhere yet.

Rock legend takes brutal strike at Trump and Musk in new protest song

Rock legend takes brutal strike at Trump and Musk in new protest song

He didn’t hold back

The state of American politics is a major cause of concern for many, and with President Donald Trump accused of triggering a global trade war, Elon Musk is gutting whole organizations with the Department of Government Efficiency, and there are also worries that we’re on the cusp of World War III.

This is inspiring musicians to speak out, and you might remember when Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong used his Coachella performance to take a swipe at the POTUS and Elon Musk when he changed the lyrics of “American Idiot” to say, “I’m not part of the MAGA agenda.”

The White Stripes’ Jack White similarly changed the lyrics of “Corporation” to say, “I was thinking about becoming an oligarch, who’s with me?”

Rock legend Neil Young is known for his political protest songs back to the 1960s, and keen to continue the tradition, he’s now taken aim at President Donald Trump and Elon Musk in an acid-tongued song.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Young has added a new song to his catalog during a Los Angeles benefit concert. Titled “Let’s Roll Again”, Young’s song takes shots at Musk and his role in Tesla as he rallies American automakers: “Come on Ford, come on GM. Come on Chrysler, let’s roll again.”

He asks for them to return to responsible manufacturing and points out how China is leading the way in green vehicle production.

After a quick harmonica break, Young adds: “If you’re a fascist, get a Tesla, If you’re a democrat, taste your freedom.”

Considering Musk just had to deal with an uncomfortable earnings call that outlined a shocking 70% dip in Tesla profits, we don’t think he’ll be too impressed by Young’s latest ditty. Mike Myers recently spoke out against Trump and famously wore a “Canada is not for sale” t-shirt on Saturday Night Live.

With Young owning a dual Canadian-American citizenship, he’s previously described the President as “a disgrace to my country.” Young was recently spotted holding a “Hands off Canada” sign at a California protest, while he also performed at Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Fighting Oligarchy” rally.

Writing on his website, Young raged: “When I go to play music in Europe, if I talk about Donald J. Trump, I may be one of those returning to America who is barred or put in jail to sleep on a cement floor with an aluminium blanket.

“That’s right folks, if you say anything bad about Trump or his administration, you may be barred from re-entering USA.”

Young previously shared concerns that he’d be barred from reentering the USA when returning from his European tour, including a Glastonbury performance.

Young’s wife and collaborative partner is Kill Bill‘s Daryl Hannah, who said the first Trump administration “tried every trick in the book” to try and stop him from getting his citizenship.

There’s no love lost between Young and Trump, and after the veteran rocker once tried to sue the latter for using “Rockin’ in the Free World” on his campaign trail, we don’t imagine there are many Neil Young CDs in the Oval Office.

Jon Stewart says Elon Musk 'ghosted him' after he issued the billionaire a challenge

Jon Stewart says Elon Musk ‘ghosted him’ after he issued the billionaire a challenge

Their bitter feud continues

Elon Musk isn’t a particularly popular man right now, with his estranged daughter, ex-lover Grimes, and MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair all calling out the world’s richest man. Others have shared their disdain for him, with Stephen King, Azealia Banks, Michael Keaton, Bernie Sanders, and more being among the eclectic list of names who’ve made their feelings clear.

It seems we can keep Jon Stewart on that list, and having previously shared his beef with the tech mogul, the host of The Daily Show has claimed that Musk has ‘ghosted’ him after ducking out of a challenge.

This bitter feud all started back in February 2025, when Stewart used a segment to mock Elon Musk and his role as the head of the Department of Efficiency. While Musk has vowed to try and cut $2 trillion from government spending amid accusations of waste and fraud, this has come at the cost of thousands of jobs. The backlash has been clear, with calls to boycott Tesla and Musk losing billions from his fortune.

Musk was irked by Stewart, taking to X to claim that The Daily Show is biased against him.

A volley from Stewart saw him invite the Tesla overlord onto the show, with Musk then serving back on the condition that it go out unaired – seemingly trying to allude to the idea that The Daily Show would twist his words.

Stewart even tried to sweeten the deal, trying to tempt Musk onto the show as he added: “I’ll be honest, I don’t think this network makes any other programming. So we can do whatever the f**k we want, as long as we wrap before the new season of South Park comes out.”

Giving us the update we’ve all been waiting for, Stewart revealed where the proposed sit-down is up to these days. Speaking on his podcast, Stewart admitted he’s been ‘left on read’ and explained: “Judging from his most recent revelations of his baby mamas, I think everyone has been left on read at some point by that gentleman…I got left on read, man.”

An interview with Elon Musk? Jon Stewart would be delighted

As well as mocking the current situation between Musk and accusations he secretly fathered a 13th child with St. Clair, Stewart didn’t hold back with the shots when he continued: “I did DM him. I texted him and just said like, ‘Hey man, so is there somebody I should, you know, have our guys reach out to, to make this happen?’ And I got ghosted.”

Suggesting that Musk is under the thumb of the POTUS, Stewart continued: “They keep talking about cancel culture.

“The real cancel culture in this country is anybody who might speak out against Donald Trump, who might be on the right, is immediately exiled.”

Neither Musk nor Donald Trump was safe from the political commentator, with Stewart concluding: “If there’s one thing that this administration does better than anybody I’ve ever seen, it’s play the victim.

“I’ve never seen any people ever, including when my kids were three and two years old, evade accountability and responsibility and blame others in the way that these people do. It’s truly shameless.”

At this rate, it sounds like you’ve got more chance of getting Musk back on SNL than The Daily Show.
